A hair and makeup trial is the first step in achieving your perfect look and ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the wedding day. The trial normally happens around 8-12 weeks before the wedding day, although sometimes earlier, especially for a destination wedding. It gives us an opportunity to run through any ideas you may have in regards to your hair and makeup, including colours and styles you may have seen whilst planning. If you don’t have any ideas, don’t panic! I can offer advice and guidance and we will find the perfect look that is tailor-made for you. The trial is a great opportunity for you to meet me, see the way I work, and most importantly make sure we are right for each other. And asides from giving you a chance to see the hair and makeup on yourself before the day, it is also an opportunity to ensure that you are not sensitive to any of the products used. 

We will be able to work out timings for the big day and agree upon a start time to ensure you and your bridal party have plenty of time to be pampered before the main event, and and fit in a glass of champagne with final touch ups too.

A hair and makeup trial will normally last around 2 hours, but is not limited to that time frame. We will keep going until you are 100% happy with the look before I leave.

If you would like to book me for the wedding day itself then I require a 50% deposit* of the bride’s total at the end of the trial to secure the date.
